By registering an account on Netlinkd you are required to provide certain information such as your name, gender, date of birth, and e-mail address. Your e-mail address will never be shown to anybody. We use this information to verify your eligibility to use the Netlinkd service, better match you with other users, as well as to contact you, should you require technical support.
Location data. The main function of this service is to list other users nearby, and/or who share the same interests as you. For this matter it will use or ask you to provide your location in order for it to function and users will be able to see the distance between you and them, to a minimum of 500 meters. If you are using the app, it will ask you to either provide your location all the time even when the app is closed or not in use or you can provide your location manually only while using the app, using the "Update my location" button.
After account creation you may voluntarily submit additional optional information (by editing your profile) to make better use of this service and match you with other users more accurately. To delete this information if you change your mind, just edit your profile again and undo the changes.
We will not share or sell your information with any third party outside of Netlinkd.
You can deactivate your account at any time from Edit profile, but you can also contact us to permanently delete your account and all your data at contact@netlinkd.com.
